In 2001 terrorists attacked the World Trade Centre in New York City, killing over 3,000 people. In response a group of students in St. Andrews decided to put together a fashion show that would celebrate New York, its energy and style and raise money for its suffering.
They created DONT WALK.
Over 10 years DONT WALK has continued to grow and develop and has raised over £100,000 for various charities. DONT WALK 2011 broke all the records and donated £20,000 to Right to Play. DONT WALK 2012 aims to better this and is dedicated to doing all we can to change lives at the Shitima School, supported by our charity Zamcog.
DONT WALK is a community, a family that celebrates freedom of expression and individuality. This group of highly dedicated students aims to make a difference by producing a fashion and artistic spectacle. DONT WALK 2012 aims to bring you a celebration of artistic abilities and talents in St. Andrews and beyond. While always staying true to our roots and celebrating 10 years of success DONT WALK 2012 is excited to bring a new dimension to the DONT WALK tradition.
DONT WALK 2012 will take place on March 10th 2012 at Kinkell Byre, St. Andrews.
